New Enhancements

  • My Assessments
    • New screen that displays the assessments in your purview and allows for multiple assessment options
    • Security Role Configuration Setting within the My Team tab to enable
    • My Assessments screen includes user, competency, and status filter to allow for specific filtering criteria
    • Screen utilizes paging, with up to 50 records per page
    • Have ability to either assess individual competencies, or group of competencies to assess in mass through new Assessment Workbook functionality

 

  • Assessment Workbook
    • Ability to quickly assess multiple competencies
    • Company Setting under Features tab ‘Use Workbooks?’ will allow a workbook tab to appear in the Individual Profile
    • Security role settings > My Self > Individual Profile > ‘Workbooks Tab’, My Team > Employee Profile > ‘Workbooks Tab’, and My Team > Workbooks
      • The setting under My Self will enable/disable the ability to view the workbook tab under the individual profile, where you can conduct self-assessments. The settings under My Team will allow for the left-hand navigation target for creating a workbook to assess any users/competencies in your purview
    • The self-assessment workbook will display any not assessed or pending self-assessments within the user’s assignments
    • Workbook navigation link within My Team > Workbooks will display the active and completed workbooks tab, as well as a button to create a new worksheet
    • Within the New Worksheet, you have the same visualization as the My Assessments page, where you are shown only the specific competencies that you can assess. You also can filter based on user, competency, or status.
    • Select the assessments, either individually or through select element for all on the page, and then click the ‘Launch Assessment Workbook’ button
    • There are 2 options to assess the competencies:
      • Select Level dropdown where you select the proficiency level for the assessment, and all rating elements up to and including that level are automatically selected once submitted
      • Click the status icon to open a slide-over assessment where you can select the individual rating elements, just like the current state.
    • Ability to remove any competency from workbook by clicking the red ‘x’ icon.
    • Ability to exclude any competency from the workbook submittal process by selecting the toggle icon on the far right, it will grey out the assessment options
    • There is an option to name the workbook at the top of the screen
    • There are 2 submittal options
      • If you have not finished all the assessments, and wish to return later, there is a ‘Save’ button which will store your assessment options and save the workbook.
      • If you have completed the assessments, select the ‘Submit Worksheet’ button, and the system will process the completed assessment

 

  • Assessment Audit
    • Ability to audit completed assessments
    • Security Role Configuration under Administration tab > Assessments > ‘Audit Completed Assessments’ – This setting will allow any user with this security role to audit completed assessments if they have been deemed an auditor based on Assessor Matrix Configuration
    • Security Role Configuration under Administration tab > Configuration > Other > ‘Audit Status Reason’ – This setting will allow any user with this security role to have access to the Audit Status Reason admin screen, which stores the available selections from an audit. Comes pre-configured with default fail conditions, but can create new items.
    • Assessor Matrix configuration – To be deemed an auditor for an assessment, within Step 4 of an assessment rule, for the ‘Role’ select Auditor, and then the performed by section ability remains the same.
    • Performing assessment audit - Once a user has been named an auditor from the assessor matrix, as well as having the security role configuration to audit completed assessments, Navigate to an assessment from either the status matrix or individual profile. Within the previous assessment details, on the right side of the assessment form, there will be 2 selection lists and a button.
      • Status indicates whether the assessment has passed or failed the audit
      • Reason will display the possible options, configured within the Audit status reason screen, tied to either the pass or fail option.
      • Once both selections are made, select the Submit button
    • Visualization into audited assessments
      • Analytic – New assessment audit analytic – Enabled from Company Settings > Analytics tab > ‘Show Audit Doughnut Analytic?’
        • Displays counts of completed assessment audits, with a percentage of success rate. Doughnut split up into segments based on pass/fail and reason. Drills down into report
      • Report – Assessment Audit report displays detailed information about the audited assessments.
        • Security Role Configuration to enable within Reporting and Analytics tab > Generate Reports > ‘Assessment Audit’

 

  • Individual Profile Configuration
    • Ability enable/disable specific tabs within the individual profile, with both company-wide settings as well as specific security role configurations
      • Company Settings > Features Tab has settings for Development Plans, Learning Resources, and Workbook. These settings allow for company-wide enabling/disabling of profile tabs
      • Security Role Settings – split up between Myself > Individual Profile and My Team > Employee Profile.
        • Settings under Myself allow any user with the security role to view the selected tabs within the individual profile.
        • Settings under My Team allow any user with the security role to view the selected tabs within the individual profile of any user within their purview
        • This allows for more configuration options, giving clients more control over specific elements on a page that users have access to
      • **Note** Configurations on Both the Company Settings and Security Roles are defaulted to not selected. First time configuration is required to allow users access to the tabs.   • Exposing Rules in UI
    • Giving users visibility into both how roles and assessors are assigned
    • Security Role Configuration Setting under Administration > User Management > Rules > ‘View Rule Names & IDs’ –
      • Any user with security role setting enabled will have visibility into the name of assignment rule responsible for assigning a competency role as a hover text on the business card view of the individual profile
      • Within the assessment form, hovering over an assessor’s name will indicate the assessor matrix rule which assigned him as an assessor

 

  • Manual Status Expiration
    • Ability to manually expire status of any competent or about to expire competency
    • Security Role configuration under Administration > Database > ‘Manual Status Update’ – Any user with this setting enabled will have access to the Manual Status Update screen
    • Admin Screen allows user to make use of user, competency, status (competent and about to expire), and assessment date filters to select specific assessments to undergo a status change.
    • Have ability to display and select up to 100 individual assessments to trigger at a time. Individual selection or select all options available
    • Once assessments have been selected, required fields are New status, which allow for expired or about to expire only, and the expiration date.
      • Optional selections are a reminder date, if you want to give users a distinct time frame to complete assessments.
      • Text field for change reason, which allows the user to document the reason that this update is taking place
    • Associated Report – Gives visibility into assessments which have been manually updated
    • Security Role configuration setting under Reporting and Analytics > Generate Report > ‘Manual Status Update’

 

  • Miscellaneous
    •  Status Matrix Proficiency Toggle – Status Matrix Tools now has selection option to view the users’ current proficiency instead of the status icons in the form of a pie chart visualization per competency. To enable, select the ‘Proficiency’ toggle within the ‘Toggle Details’ section of the status matrix tools, and then the ‘Submit’ button along with any other filter criteria
    • Team Competence Analytic – New Analytic that displays the average proficiency of the people within your purview. Drills down into a specific competency and the current vs expected levels of the users within your purview. Utilizes toggle details to display users based on direct reports, all reports, people I assess, and everyone within a user’s purview. Competencies displayed are distinguished by proficiency scale. A drop-down list of available proficiency scales is represented based on the user population toggle applied.
    • Competency Type – New client configured metadata attribute for competencies. Includes security role configuration setting within Administration > Competency Library > Competency Attributes > ‘Competency Type’. Enabling this setting will enable access to an admin screen where you can configure different competency types. To assign a competency type to a competency, once created, the competency admin screen has a dropdown selection for competency type. Note, current state only includes the admin screen, a future deployment will include import ability to assign competency type to competency. Within the status matrix tools, competency type is included as a filter option.
    • Status Matrix x-axis responsiveness – when resizing the browser window, ensuring that the number of users displayed does not exceed what can be viewed at one time.
    • Matching Export templates – included new export templates to match available import templates, specifically: Experience Elements, Competency Experience Elements, Equipment, Worksite, Degree of Difficulty, Consequence, Complexity, Regulation, and Abnormal Operating Condition.
    • Additional User Details Admin Pages – Included admin pages for risk of loss and risk of loss reason, which allows for clients to define the values for risk of loss and the reasons. Security role configurations settings within Administration > User Management > Additional User Details > ‘Risk of Loss’ and ‘Risk of Loss Reason’.
    • User Competency Role Mappings – Made a change to the search results so that the users returned are displaying in alphabetical order within the selection screen

Bug Fixes

  • Removed back button from User Competency/Competency Role Assignments screen which navigated to Assignment Rules
  • Fixed an issue where Proficiency Distribution Analytic was referencing incorrect competency names
  • Fixed issue where analytics were incorrectly displaying non-integer values
  • Fixed an issue where assignments were being incorrectly removed from user’s profile within the User Competency/Competency Role Assignment Screen
  • Fixed issue where inactive users were displaying blank fields within the Assessor Matrix Rules
  • Fixed an issue where rating element sort order was not updating properly after save
  • Fixed issue where rating element sort order was not displaying properly in competency details view
  • Fixed an issue caused when attempting to launch a notification within the status matrix tools view
  • Fixed an issue caused when selecting the back button from the Learning Type Drill-down Analytic
