  • Notifications – Included the first phase of notifications, is focused on 2 types of pending assessments
    • Pending Assessment – Assessor (based on Assessor Matrix Rules) would receive a notification that a user has conducted a self-assessment
    • Pending Self-Assessment – If the workflow is configured to include sending assessments back to a user, then a user would receive a notification that the assessment has been sent back
    • Both notification types have a configuration setting in the Company Settings screen that needs to be selected in order to view notifications of that type
    • Notifications can be viewed on top right corner of the page (next to email) with a bell icon. When clicked, there are 3 views:
      • List – displays all notifications in chronological order
      • Type – separates the notifications based on type
      • Timeline – separates the notifications based on when they were received: today, this week, this month, or last six months
    • On the notifications icon, a counter will display when the user has unread notifications
      • Unread notifications will appear with a green bar on the left hand side, when it has been read, the green bar will disappear
      • User has the ability to determine if you want to hide any read notifications
      • There is also a selection to read all or unread all notifications
    • The notification will display the name of the user, the competency that needs to be assessed, and a date/time
    • In order to action a notification, hover over the notification badge, and click on the rocket icon that appears, this will slide open the assessment that applies to the notification

  • Background Processing/Queuing – We have implemented the 1st Phase of a background processing service for Admin screens which trigger assessment status recalculations. This feature will improve the time it takes to save certain admin screens:
    • Proficiency Scale
    • Competency Group
    • Competency
    • Competency Role to Competency Mapping
    • User
    • User Competency Role
    • User Competency Assignments
    • Assignment Matrix
    • Have included a configuration setting in the Security Role settings under Administration for Status Recalculation Logs
      • This will display a page which tracks status recalculation triggers from the admin screens above
      • The Status Recalculation Log will display:
        • Source – which page triggered a recalculation
        • Initiator – The admin user who made an update
        • Queue Type – the recalculation type, users or competencies
        • Start Time – when the recalculation started
        • End Time – when the recalculation completed
        • Message – will display whether a recalculation completed successfully or not
      • The Status Recalculation Log will only display the recalculations triggered for the current user, but the filtered count will display for all triggers stored in the database

  • Exempting Competencies or Competency Roles in the Assignment Matrix
    • A configuration setting has been added to the Company Settings screen, that if selected, allows for exemptions to occur. The setting is defaulted to not selected, so if conducting exemptions from the Assignment Matrix is a process in the company, ensure that the setting is activated, otherwise no action is necessary

  • Hiding Rating Element Descriptions from users in assessments
    • A configuration setting has been added to the Proficiency Scale create/edit page, that if selected allows for rating element descriptions to not appear for the user on assessments linked to the user

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where editing an inactive location opened a new location form
  • Fixed an issue in the Workflow where a self-referencing link could be created
  • Fixed an issue which caused rating element selections to disappear when saving an assessment
  • Removed a non-functioning print icon that appeared in reports when using Internet Explorer
