Reporting reference guide 8/27/16

The purpose of this document is to give a brief description of what is displayed in the reports, how they can be filtered, and some potential use cases for specific reports. With a better understanding of the reports available, our clients will be better equipped to understand the data that is collected in the system.

 

Assessor Activity Report

  • Can be filtered by country, region, or location
  • This report can be used for understanding the number of assessments that assessors have conducted within a certain location. Helpful for determining whether there is a need for more assessors within a certain location

 

Competency by Performance Report

  • This report is tied to the Strengths/Weaknesses Analytic
  • The report displays Competencies, the number of assigned users, and the overall compliance percentage for the competency
  • The report can be filtered by competency
  • This report gives you an insight on which competencies users are stronger in, relative to the specific expectations.

 

Competency Learning Resource by Relationship Report

  • This report is tied to the % Competencies with Learning Resources analytic
  • When run from the analytic, this report displays the competencies with associated learning resources, based on relationship, i.e. competency to learning resource, rating element to learning resource, learning driven competency
  • Report can be filtered by competency, learning resource, or learning resource type
  • This report gives insight into which competencies have learning resources, and how the learning resources are associated

 

Competency Learning Resource Report

  • This report is tied to the Learning Type Analytic drill down
  • Report can be filtered by competency, learning resource, or learning resource type
  • This report gives insight into which competencies have learning resources and what type of learning resources are associated with competencies

 

Competency Report

  • This report is tied to both the Proficiency Distribution and the Competency Over/Under Analytics
  • The report can be filtered by competency
  • This report gives visibility into assessments conducted per competency, and how users are being assessed against the expectation

  

Competency Requirements by Role Report

  • Report can be filtered by the role or a user
  • This report gives insight into the competency requirements for a role
  • This report is formatted and built with the intention of giving users the ability to print out all the details for the competencies per role

 

Competency Requirements by Role Basic Report

  • This report is identical to the Competency Requirements by Role Report, except that it hides the rating element description
  • The use case for this report would be to provide end users visibility into their role requirements, while still giving assessors notes (hidden in the descriptions) on how to properly assess the competency

 

Competency Requirements Report

  • Like the competency requirements by role report, this report shows all the requirements for a competency. Rating elements and associated learning items are displayed in the report, and it is formatted with printability in mind.
  • This report is filtered through the use of the competency tree structure, any parent competency groups selected will display all hierarchically related competencies and their requirements

 

Competency Status Report

  • Report can be filtered by Competency, Competency Group, Competency Role, Country, Region, Location, Job, Organization, or User
  • Report gives competency status counts and percentages for any users that have a competency assigned. Report can give insight into how users are performing on certain competencies

 

Compliance Report

  • Can be filtered by Competency Group
  • Displays counts of compliant vs non-compliant statuses on competencies within a competency group. Can be used as a high level aggregation of competency status
  • This report can be leveraged to find specific competency gaps, which might require mitigations

 

Development Plan Report

  • This report is tied to the Users with Development Plans Analytic
  • Can be filtered by User
  • This report displays which users have an active development plan created

 

Location Report

  • Can be filtered by Location, Country, or Region
  • This report displays the overall status and compliance percentage per user, per role, per location

 

 Organization Report

  • Can be filtered by Organization, will display hierarchical filter selections
  • This report displays overall status and compliance percentage per user, per role, per organization

 

Status by Competency Report

  • Can be filtered by Competency
  • This report displays overall status counts for each competency

 

Status by Organization by User Report

  • Can be filtered by Organization or User
  • Displays User status counts, as well as detailed user information, including, org, job, role, user type, location, supervisor, and any potential assessor(s)

 

Status by Organization Report

  • Can be filtered by Organization
  • Displays aggregated status counts per organization

 

User by Performance Report

  • This report is tied to Strengths/Weaknesses Analytics
  • Can be filtered by User
  • Displays the number of competency assignments and the compliance percentage for the users. This report is a quick way to see which employees are most developed/compliant to their requirements

 

User Competency Assessment Activity Report

  • Report is tied to the Assessment Activity Analytic
  • Can be filtered by Assessment Status, Competency, Competency Role, Job, Location, Organization, or User
  • When run by clicking the analytic, the report displays the competencies of a certain status based on a month time frame. The report displays user information, and all competency assessment details associated with the user

 

User Competency Learning Resource Report

  • Tied to the Learning Type Analytic Drilldown
  • Can be filtered by Learning Resource, Learning Resource type, and User
  • Displays user competency assessment information on competencies with learning resources, as well as user learning resource completion information

 

User Learning History Report

  • Tied to the Learning Type Analytic Drilldown
  • Can be filtered by Learning Resource, Learning Resource Type, and User
  • Displays the learning resources that have been completed by users based on learning resource type

  

User Learning Selection Report

  • Can be filtered by Learning Resource, Learning Resource Type, User
  • If you are leveraging development plans, then this report can give insight into your learning forecast, showing the learning items users have selected on their development plans

 

User Report

  • Tied to Status Tiles Analytic
  • Can be filtered by Assessment Status, Competency, or User
  • Displays all the competencies that are assigned to a user, as well as the assessment details
