Framework in place to control notification emails. Makes use of Kahuna Rules Engine to define which notification types get emailed to Users and at what frequency.
Within Company Settings: Admin Functions > Configuration > Settings, Notification tab has settings to enable/disable notification types for both Web and Email.
Included Notification Expiration to define how long notifications remain in the framework
Within Security Roles: Admin Functions > Security > Security Roles, when editing Security Role, under Administration Tab, under User Management > Rules, 2 new settings created, to view, edit, add, or delete Notification Rules and Test Notification Rules.
Left Hand Navigation to Notification Rules is accessed through Admin Functions > User Management > Rules > Notification Rules
This is the table view for any created rules. From this page, you can create new rules from the Page Action Menu, edit existing rules from the table view, delete selected rules from page actions menu, view estimated notifications to be sent based on rules by clicking the Estimate Sending Requirements Button, or send test notification email by clicking the Test Notification Rules
Create a rule by selecting Create Notification Rule from the Page Actions Menu.
Step 1 > Rule Details
Here you name the rule and set whether it is active or not
Step 2 > Define the group of recipients
This step makes us of all available attributes to define the user population which receives the email notifications
Step 3 > Define the users to be exempt from receiving this email
This is an optional step that allows you to make use of the same filter options to label any users who should be exempt from notifications
Step 4 > Notification Types
Select which notification Types to include in the email.
Email Frequency – The last section allows you to define the frequency of the notification emails
Weekly – If weekly is selected as the frequency, then sending days dropdown will display days of the week
Bi-Weekly – If bi-weekly is selected as the frequency, then sending days dropdown will display days of the week
Monthly – If monthly is selected as the frequency, then sending days dropdown will display numbers 1-31
Note: Email notifications are intended to supplement the in-system notifications, as such, only non-read notifications, created within the selected frequency of the rule will appear in the summary notification email. For example, if a rule is created to send Assessors Pending Assessment Notification types weekly, any assessor who reads all in-system notifications within that week would not receive the email. Additionally, any assessments conducted outside of the weekly period would not be included in email.

Job Import Logic Update
Kahuna Job Architecture is set up to have 3-tiered hierarchy of job function, job family, and job. Some clients only store flat job file without hierarchy, so we have put controls in place to accept flat file, while defining default hierarchy within system.
Under Admin Functions > Configuration > Settings, Under Company Details tab, have included selection for Default Job Function and Family for Imports.
Here you can select a default object for Job Function as Well as Job Family. What this does is define where to house any objects that are imported without a defined parent object.
Comparison Analytic Drilldown
Have included drilldown capability in Comparison Analytic for any hierarchical objects, allowing you to click on data set to see the lower level of detail.
